Bereavement Counselling: Following a significant loss people experience a complex set of emotions called grief. Bereavement counselling offers a safe ,confidential and non-judgmental context in which clients can explore, understand and process the impact of loss on their lives.


Losses are many and varied , including :- Death of a significant other, Separation/Divorce,Loss of health,Loss of family/personal relationships, loss of identity, loss of self-esteem, Redundancy/Retirement,Transitions.


Bereavement counselling for children and adolescents enables young people to get in touch with their feelings of pain and loss. They are facilitated in finding healing and growth through the pain,developing a greater sense of self worth and strength to live with the changed circumstance of their lives.


Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a structured short-term therapy that focuses on the link between thoughts (cognitions) and behaviour. The emphasis is on the" here and now" and on facilitating change by exploring how cognitions are affecting clients emotionally , physically and behaviourally. CBT is effective in helping with problems such as anxiety,phobias,ocd,post-traumatic stress and depression.
